Fish Camp is a small community on Highway 41, about a mile from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. Summerdale Campground is between the town and park entrance. Nearby, the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad operates along four miles of narrow-gauge track. Used to haul lumber from 1899 to 1931, the restored track and Shay locomotives now haul tourists.
