We spent four nights here. Beautiful decor everywhere. Cosy and comfortable room. We loved the keyless entry system with the codes. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt very private and self contained down in the basement and loved the additional bathtub in the room! A nice touch.
The only negative is the noise from the wooden floor above. That aside, it was a wonderful experience!

The first thing we found was that parking is very difficult.
The hotel looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Built in the 1400's i think.
I was welcomed by name by the very friendly and helpful owner who cannot do enough to help.
The room was like going to stay at my grandmothers in the 1970's. Clean, comfortable and they have thought of everything form a bottle of water and every flavour tea you can imagine, to an iron and ironing board and hairdryer, books and magazines and a chocolate on the pillows.
Breakfast was lovely in the bright kitchen where you sit at a big farmhouse table with the other guests.
If you want posh and modern do not come here. But if you want a very welcome homely simple B&B then this is the place for you.

This tall old house is located 1 minute from the seaside and only 5 minutes from the pier. The 3 gentlemen who operate the B&B were super friendly and welcoming. Our room was at the very top of this walk-up so my wife's luggage bags was carried for her. The room had a great view of the surrounding neighbourhood and pier area. Guests are requested to order breakfast the day before. Our cold portions were ready at the table when we sat down - very efficient. The quiet street runs between St. James and Marine Drive so just a short walk for food, drink and services.

My wife and I stayed here and it was excellent. Great staff and location and the included breakfast was top notch - much better than you would get at most places. Our room was great but if space is a priority for you, make sure you inquire about the various room options as ours was relatively small but saw some that are quite large.

We had a lovely two night stay with dinner included both nights which proved excellent value (included a bottle of very good wine between us). Our room (6) had a lovely view across to Winchelsea. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order and there was a great spread. Recommended.

We 4 people stayed one night in 2 deluxe double rooms which were spacious, clean and comfortable. The rate included breakfast which had loads of things to choose from the menu. We would certainly stay there again if we needed a hotel in the area.
