"First time in Denia would stay at Palau Verd again"
The Palau Verde Hotel sits in a beautiful setting, we had a very relaxing holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and cleanliness of the hotel is superb.Breakfast was extremely good so many choices The only thing we would criticise was .the evening meals, we had three during our holiday in the beautiful gardens.but the food did not match the ambience

Lovely small hotel (20 bedrooms). Can't believe it only has 3 stars as certainly deserves 4! On arrival we were told we had been given the best room in the hotel, not sure why but we weren't complaining! Room 208 was spacious, clean, trendy, lovely bathroom, brilliant views of the harbour. In my opinion was situated in the best part of Denia. Lovely restaurants and bars literally on the doorstep. Our evening out was a 2 minute radius from the front door of the hotel, which included a meal out and a few drinks in the local bars!! Breakfast included in the rate which was mainly continental, was more than sufficient as a foundation for a stroll around Denia.
Enjoyable and comfortable 3 night stay Excellent situation, across road from train station, tourist information office, port/marina and near to main streets, we were very happy with this
There are shutters on the windows which regrettably rattled noisily when left open and we had a couple of nights with high winds. We closed ours but it was the neighbouring rooms possibly unoccupied that were left open. The only other negative was not being able to get an early morning 7am cup of tea in our room, room service/restaurant not open til 8 or 8.30
This is Spain, no teamaking facilities regrettably
Thankfully the station café opened before 7 so I was able to bring drinks back to room
However we would definitely stay at the hotel again
Not the best impression on arrival as located on a very narrow street with two skips outside. Frontage rather plain, but walking in you're in for a treat. Bar and restaurant just off reception leading to a fabulous open courtyard. Stayed within main hotel, but understand there is an annex. Both bedroom and bathroom extremely tasteful in décor and spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and had an excellent night's sleep. Good selection of foods within breakfast buffet and coffee served at table. Bit of a problem with English language, but muddled through and all staff did their total best. Very pleasing hotel within a 9 minute walk to all the shops and café/bars along Marques de Campos, The Castle and The Port of Denia. Bus station just 5 minutes walk, which also gives easy access to visit Calpe and Benidorm. Would certainly recommend to friends if visiting area and would have no hesitation in going back.

this company accepted and confirmed our booking through expedia however we were not sent an address or check in information, no one answered the phone the entire day we called. when we arrived there is no check in office on site. thankfully after 2 hours we found a neighbour who told us to go to a near by bar to get our keys. after we finally found the keys next to the closed office (not on site but around the corner--no indication of where this is when you arrive) we checked in to our dirty and uncomfortable apartment. the following day we found the office which was finally open and told the staff what we went through the day before trying to find how to check in and not being able to contact anyone. they did not care at all. the staff was so rude and unapologetic. the worst staff in a hotel/apartment I have ever encountered in my travels across the world. awful. we left as soon as possible and cut the stay short.
Very nice beach-side hotel The service was excellent, they were happy to accommodate my dog and I was given a great room. Would've given 5 stars overall but for the breakfast, which was fine but not great.
