First holiday alone, quite nervous but everything was ok. balcony view was excellant of the sea.Did'nt feel at all nervous walking around on my own even in the evenings. Found the spanish people in restaurants very friendly and helpful. met some interesting people thru my couson who's lived out here for 30yrs.Bus service very good, never got round to using the trains but would have done so given time. You are not harassed in markets etc ,unlike Turkey.
Very restful holiday
Had a fantastic few days here. Location is superb close to everything especially the beach. The rooms are dated but comfortable . Had no problems with free wifi. Plenty hot water. The only down side was the pool area, having to pay for sun beds but we prefer the beach anyway .

Rooms in low rise blocks were spacious and very clean. Lots of small touches made you feel at home - lots of TV channels, DVD library to borrow from, milk and water in fridge on arrival, kitchen paper, washing up liquid, tea bags, salt and pepper all provided in rooms. . Restaurant and bar was nice although a little more expensive than the local bars just outside. Also offered a beach towel hire service for 4 euros a week. Roof top areas with jacuzzis were lovely peaceful havens.
The staff couldn't do enough to help. A couple of staff went over and above duty to perform great service. Entertainment was something for everyone. The food was amazing for a 3 star hotel. It was perfect for what we wanted on this holiday.
The second incidence of staying at this Hotel everything about it met my expectations on both occasions . It is situated in an ideal spot for the Centre of Torremolinos . At 500 metres from the Train station and the sheer reliability of the Renfe service makes it ideal to take the train from the Airport to the resort and at 1 euro 75 cheaper than the cost of travelling to my home city from my home. There is a pleasant walk to the promenade and an not too onerous a walk up to the Hotel. There are plenty of places to eat and drink two stand out places are Matahambre on the main Avenue de Mallorca and El Gato on the promenade . For those who like to eat fairly late there is a superb shellfish bar opposite Matahambre that opens late in the day and serves every type of shellfish you can imagine and its so fresh it almost swims to the plate . The train service provides an economic way of visiting other areas Malaga with it architecture and shops is a must and at 4 euros return to Torremolinos is great value. One final mention goes to Poppy's bar just around the corner from the Hotel run by a lady with a quirky taste in decor and artifacts the place is still busy at 3 am.

This is the second time I have stayed here this year, this last time was actually only 3 days on a work trip. The staff are always helpful, polite and will do everything they can to help. I have booked to go back in September for 2 weeks as I was so impressed the first time, it was my first time in torremelinos earlier this year and I must say I was pleasantly surprised not at all what I expected, as in NOT full of rowdy english bars and burger and chips. So I would Definatley recommend both the resort and this hotel. I stayed in a perfect room with a fantastic sea view in April and have booked exactly the same for September. If you are looking for 5 star luxury then this is not the hotel for you but if you are looking for a friendly, clean, well run hotel with excellent staff and service then this is definitely worth a try, not to mention it's location, probably not even 20 paces away from the beach, absolutely perfect!!!
