I had an excellent stay at the Hotel D'Olivier; it's perfectly located next to the old town, which leads down to the harbour and the more famous end of town. If you don't want to have to walk so far to the beach, then you can turn right instead and it's a short 5 minute walk down a hill to a public and private beach. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff are lovely and very helpful and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere. I was a bit suprised to see that the pool is straight off the car park, as that's not evident from the picture, but the breakfast/ terracve area and seats around the pool are all perfect for a coffee and a croissant to set up your day, or a nice cold beer at the end of it.

For a long weekend to relax in the sun this hotel with its peaceful gardens and pool was ideal. Service was polite and efficient. No restaurant but this is not a problem in Cannes which is brimming with excellent restaurants. Would go again.

We checked-in relatively late - around 10pm - but the receptionist was expecting us and everything was ready. Service was EXCELLENT throughout the stay. The rooms appear as if they have been recently renovated and are very comfortable if a little small (but more than the average size in France). There is also complimentary private parking at the back of the hotel which was convenient. The breakfast offered by the hotel is mediocre. There is a small selection of cheese or ham, croissants, baguettes, yogurts, juice, tea, and coffee. We received complimentary breakfast, however if I had a choice I would most likely go out and buy my own. As for the location, the hotel is very close to both the beach (<5 minutes) and the center of Cannes.
Overall, I was VERY impressed with this hotel and I would definitely stay here again!

I had a superb time. Whilst on the taxi ride there, i was told by the driver that it was a lovely family hotel. It is and the day Receptionist (owner I think) was very friendly and everyone there when i needed to use the pool or anything else.
The cleaning is excellent as our rooms were always kept nice & clean. For the rating star, you get what you pay for and it's nice & clean. Very good for location as it was 5mns walk to the sandy beach. I would definitely recommend others to stay there as we were very pleased with our stay.
