Excellent central location. Hotel room clean and spacious and staff friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Only slight issue was shower refused to stay at 1 temperature - fluctuated lots. However as we only stayed for 1 night this wasn't a huge problem.
I can't say enough great things about Hotel Bourgoensch Hof! The location is fantastic - just steps away from "the most photographed spot in Bruges" (though I think the pictures I've taken from my room are better than any I've seen from there!) and a 60 second walk to the Markt square and the Belfry. I definitely recommend getting a Canal View room - the view is truly spectacular, and it is a joy to sit with the window open, looking at the canal and the church and the bridges as the tour boats go by. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is served every morning in an incredible setting. This place is just great!
I live a few thousand miles away so can't visit as often as I'd like, but after my first visit a few years back, I've specifically planned detours on two separate trips to be able to come back!
GREAT ROOM. NUMBER 1 . DOOR FROM BATH ROOM TO BEDROOM WOULD BE THE ONLY CRITICISM NOT SECURE AND NO EXTRACTOR FAN IN BATHROOM.
THE REST THE STAFF AND ALL THE USUAL THINGS GREAT .
I WISH THEM WELL IN THE COMING YEARS.
A great place to stay - totally different to the usual bland featureless hotels. Reminded me of a victorian era cruise ship cabin. Room / cabin was small but clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Quiet location so we got a great nights sleep. Only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Free parking right outside the front door.
This hotel extended expectations. Small rooms, tiny actually, but we knew this when we booked, opened onto a pretty little garden. Ideal for 1 or 2 nights in this beautiful place. Breakfast was exceptionally good in sister hotel across narrow street. Quiet situation close to everything and near enough to walk from railway station. Warmly recommend.

We arrived in Bruges early evening, nothing was too much trouble, we were given somewhere safe to store our luggage while the owner took us to the storage units where our bikes were to be securely parked, we were given discount leaflets and a little information about where's best to eat and where to avoid, we'd had problems with one of the bikes enroute, (it was a Ducati) and they were happy to lend us tools to help fix it, the hotel was lovely, the people were very friendly, the food was excellent and everything was so clean, tidy and just so.. We have already told them we will be visiting again next year and may even stay for longer. Couldn't have asked for a better start to our holiday.

Me and my mother spent one night here in September 2013. Location is ideal...steps from tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. An easy walk from the train station. Check in was a breeze. Room was quiet, even though it faced the main street. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Ladies at the front desk were lovely and very kind. Breakfast was awesome, with possibly the best croissants I have ever had, and good coffee too! Excellent light in the bathroom
