Bronowice was a magnet for the late 19th and early 20th century New Poland movement, with its rustic wooden houses and strong traditions inspiring a generation of artists. The charming Rydlowka Museum records this creative time in Polish history. As Krakow expanded, Bronowice became a city suburb, and is four kilometres north-west of the historic centre, which is reached by regular trams.
