"Nice hotel on the seafront"
We stayed here for a weekend in Brighton, prices of places in Brighton itself were way too high. Good calm place to retreat to after a long day. Cabs from the lanes are £8/9. Tired decor but lovely staff and super spacious rooms. Very comfy beds too!

"Well positioned, modern, comfortable hotel"
Really enjoyed my stay. Was sent codes to access the property, so no check-in. I didn't see staff until the following morning. Tea and coffee was available in communal area so it didn't matter that there were no facilities in the room. Fruit was also available, along with croissants (Sunday morning). Bottled water was in the bedroom. There was also a good quality hairdryer and great fluffy towels. Everything worked well, was clean and fresh. My bed was extremely comfortable and the window opened fully. There was no aircon (not expected in a small hotel) but there was a very effective fan in my room. I'd definitely stay here again. The location was superb, just minutes from the seafront and pier and the staff member I met was very helpful and friendly.

"Wonderful sea view, spoiled by dusted windows"
On a special occasion, my wife and I booked this hotel for a one-night stay in Brighton, and opted for a room with sea view, which was available for 180£ per night. Majority of hotel staff were nice on our arrival, but the hotel itself and the room were a little bit of a turndown: our room had a wonderful sea view, spoiled by dusted and dirty windows; room was clean but not up to the standard you expect at such rate; bathrooms may need serious improvement; and they definitely need to get rid of those energy saving electronic eyes, especially in the bathroom (well I didn't like the fact that I had to "dance" while sitting on the toilet to turn the lights on every time they went off and left me in the pitch black darkness). I think if the hotel managers are keen on saving energy, there better ways to explore. A noisy disco next to the hotel could add a positive feature to the hotel's location for some people (for proximity to night life) and a negative point for some other; for us, it was neither, after all we just stayed for one night.

"“Perfect location, accommodation & staff”"
My partner and I were in Brighton for a wedding last weekend and no only was it a nightmare to find somewhere half decent, it was really hard to find somewhere for just one night! After weeks of looking I finally found Churchills. It was very easy check-in, check-out and everyone was friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!

"Wonderful experience"
The staff were all really friendly and very welcoming. The room was lovely, and I love all of the little touches like bottles of water, amazing teas, and a little eco-friendly bottles of shampoo. The breakfast was wonderful. If you've got a good appetite, try the vegan full-english breakfast. Everything is wonderful! I would definitely go back :)

"Better then hotel stay"
Much better option then staying in a hotel, value for money, very good location. A bit noisy in the evening but to be expected so cant complain about that. Good facilities.

"Gorgeous hotel"
The hotel is very close to the beach and we found the staff very helpful and nice. The room was very nice, clean and with a splendid view on the beach. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of Full English or Continental, and it was at a decent hour, no need to get up at dawn in order to breakfast! The restaurant is one of the best we have ever experienced, with little intimate alcoves and an opera singer. Food was delicious and service was great. We would recommend this hotel any day!
