ALL THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND SUPPORTIVE. HOWEVER PALOOMA WAS EXTRAORDINARY. SHE HELPED ME ARRANGE MY DEPARTURE VIA THE SHUTTLE I ALREADY PAID FOR EVEN BEFORE I LEFT THE USA. THE COMPANY DID NOT LEAVE A FORWARDING TELEPHONE. SHE FOUND IT, CALLED THEM AND MADE SURE I WAS PICKED UP IN TIME AT THE HOTEL TO GO TO THE AIRPORT. SHE ALSO ARRANGED FOR ME TO GET A ABG LUNCH/ BREAKFAST TO TAKE WITH ME SINCE THE DINING ROOM OPENED AT 7:30AM AND I WAS TO BE PICKED UP BY 7:35AM.
WHEN NEXT I COME TO LONDON I WILL SURELY STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.
I was staying in London for a weekend and needed a hotel in the central location in a reasonable price. So I found Bayswater Inn and booked it. I must admit that the decor of the room was well outdated but clean, the bed was comfortable (given that I have a memory foam mattress at home), TV working. There was a wide variety of food served at breakfast (full English, toast, yogurt, fruit) - may not be the finest quality or organic but still everyone can find something for themselves.
Honestly, there was nothing negative I could really pick on. Overall, given the price, I can fully recommend the hotel, which is about 5 minutes walk from the Hyde Park, Notting Hill. Do I really need to say more?
We were very happy with our choice. The hotel has a bit of character and a great location, right next to a metro stop. The room furniture was a bit old and thread bare looking, but everything was really clean and the staff was very good. Having the breakfast included was a nice way to start the day. We got one of the family rooms with three beds. It worked great for us, since we were on a busy family vacation. Getting one room with three beds instead of two rooms saved a ton of money.
