Girlie trip to London to go to Winter Wonderland, we moved to this hotel after having to endure our first night in London at a horrendous Bed and Breakfast (we should of taken notice of reviews). Reviewed this hotel on Tripadvisor and without hesitation moved to this hotel, all the reviews were correct. This hotel was really accommodating and let us check in at 10.00 a.m. even though check in was at 3.00p.m. On check out they let us leave our bags with them for £1 for the day so that we did not have to carry them around London as we were not leaving until the evening. This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms were spotlessly clean and have everything that you need. It is very close to tube station, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and 8 minutes tube ride to Oxford Street. Would definitely stay here again and the price is excellent at £124.00 for the room for 3 adults, 1 single bed and 1 double. Have recommended to friends and family. Thank you Lancaster Gate.
"NICE DECENT HOTEL WELL LOCATED TO CENTRAL LONDON."
ALL THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND SUPPORTIVE. HOWEVER PALOOMA WAS EXTRAORDINARY. SHE HELPED ME ARRANGE MY DEPARTURE VIA THE SHUTTLE I ALREADY PAID FOR EVEN BEFORE I LEFT THE USA. THE COMPANY DID NOT LEAVE A FORWARDING TELEPHONE. SHE FOUND IT, CALLED THEM AND MADE SURE I WAS PICKED UP IN TIME AT THE HOTEL TO GO TO THE AIRPORT. SHE ALSO ARRANGED FOR ME TO GET A ABG LUNCH/ BREAKFAST TO TAKE WITH ME SINCE THE DINING ROOM OPENED AT 7:30AM AND I WAS TO BE PICKED UP BY 7:35AM.
WHEN NEXT I COME TO LONDON I WILL SURELY STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.
This hotel is on a nice little square and very close to the underground, shopping, and food. Rooms where small (as to be expected at this price in London) but clean. Staff is very nice and arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport since there was a transit strike. Overall, very happy with our stay.
I was staying in London for a weekend and needed a hotel in the central location in a reasonable price. So I found Bayswater Inn and booked it. I must admit that the decor of the room was well outdated but clean, the bed was comfortable (given that I have a memory foam mattress at home), TV working. There was a wide variety of food served at breakfast (full English, toast, yogurt, fruit) - may not be the finest quality or organic but still everyone can find something for themselves.
Honestly, there was nothing negative I could really pick on. Overall, given the price, I can fully recommend the hotel, which is about 5 minutes walk from the Hyde Park, Notting Hill. Do I really need to say more?
