We stayed in Paris for 3 nights and found the hotel through other positive reviews. The location was perfect for us, close enough to travel via the metro but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the trip; we were given a complimentary bottle of wine as a Christmas surprise. The room was maintained to a very high standard; the breakfast buffet, although not including in the cost of our rooms, was delicious; and the hotel organised our taxi back to the station and held our luggage on our last day. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay here for 2 nights while passing through Paris. It was a great location, facing a courtyard with little traffic noise. Very close to a subway line which gave great access. Lots of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area as well. Staff was very kind and helpful in accommodating our early arrival as well as providing directions. Price was also great. Would definitely recommend it.
We booked to stay at the Citadine because we wanted an apartment. The whole experience was great. The bed was comfortable. The room was big enough. We could get ourselves breakfast and had a great place to come back to after tramping the streets of Paris. This Apart/hotel is close to the metro and close to lots of lovely food shops. Being in Montmartre was wonderful. Restaurants, food shops and cafes abound in close walking distance. We had a room at the back which was lovely and quiet. The view of Sacre Coeur from our window was a treat. Our room was cleaned several time during the week which was very helpful. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. All spoke english and were very gracious.
Great base to explore Paris, If you want opulence this isn't the place, but if you want a great base that is comfortable, convenient and good value for money fill your boots!
Friendly & helpful staff. Twenty seconds from a Metro station, good range of local amenities, about fifteen minutes (by Metro) from the tourist mecca's in central Paris, & a healthy walk from Monmartre (uphill!)
This hotel was great -- I think it was recently updated and for the price, it was much more than we anticipated! It's modern, bright, and has all the amenities you'd expect. I stayed with my mom and we were expected two twin beds, but instead we had a sort of suite room with two small rooms, two bathrooms, and full sized beds.
It was a great location, accessible and walkable to the Sacre Couer (albeit a bit of a long walk).
I highly recommend!!
This was my first visit to an Ibis Hotel..... warm and friendly atmosphere.... staff polite... rooms clean and spacious (booked a standard single) .....I stayed for two nights, at £50 per night... good value for that area.... breakfast choice was very good, and started at 6.30 (...good for an early out and about...)...was a little on the expensive side at 9.50 euros......but the price of the room made up for it... and the buffet was very much.... help yourself to as much...!!!! ...coffee excellent...
A lovely little boutique style hotel, wonderfully placed for the delights of Montmarte, just a few yards away from Rue Lepic and Rue des Abesses with their array of shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast a little overpriced but served in a lovely cellar area which made it a very nice experience. Really enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to stay again on a future trip to Paris.
