We enjoyed the hotel very much. Check in staff was rather cool, but concierges could not have been more friendly and helpful. Rooms well appointed and more spacious than expected. The hotel had an old elegance that we appreciated and was located in a very central area.
The staff is fantastic, we got there a day early and they helped us to find a room at another fantastic 5star hotel with excellent location. They were super professional and helpful.
The room was spotless, bathroom small (it is France after all), but comfortable and with every amenity.

Hotel was just off Rue de la République and not far from Place Bellecour so perfect location really. Room was quiet and well equipped if a bit small but this wasn't an issue for us. We didn't pay for breakfast and to be honest there's no need as there are a number of nearby places where you can get a Formule Petit Déjeuner for about €5!
I booked this hotel having read the other reviews on TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed. The location provided a perfect base, right in the middle of the city and the rooms were large, well appointed and exceptionally clean. Everything was thought of; from great toiletries (and plenty of them!) to a Nespresso machine, nightly updates on the following day's weather and a turn back service. The on-site spa was lovely too with treatments and a hamman.The staff were fantastic; really helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist in any way they could.
I'd definitely come here again - the hotel was beautifully chic with a gorgeous Victorian lift and a very special feel.

The hotel may not be four star, but it is clean safe and comfortable. The room rates are also not four star, and you get more than what you pay for. What truly stands out is the friendly and patient service provided by the front desk staff. It is obviously a priority of this establishment.
