Hotel staff - 5 stars. I spoke with several of the front desk people during my stay and each person was so nice and helpful. Location - 5 stars. For the price and the location, I have zero complaints. Re: room and elevator size, yes, it's small. For people complaining about the room sizes, you simply can't compare the hotel room sizes in the Americas to Central European cities. Rooms in Paris centrally located will smaller than New York rooms unless you want to pay $$$$.
Ideally located in the heart of Paris , between Opéra and Palais Royal palace, close to the bourse and well connected …More
"An excellent hotel with one of the best hotel restaurants we have ever experinced"
The hotel location was superb for both shopping, sightseeing, museums. Junior suite was well worth the extra. The Hotel grill/restaurant do a taster menu which was one of the most enjoyable I and my wife have ever experienced.
This was a good hotel with a very good location. It was accessible to most of downtown Paris, just a few blocks from the Louvre and many other sights. The service was good and the facility was well maintained for an older bulding. It was convenient to a number of good restaurants.
I care about cleanliness & location, & this is excellent in both cases. The staff was great -- loaned us umbrellas, pointed us to an Orange store where we could get a SIM, printed us maps -- all sorts of stuff. Room was tiny to the point it's almost difficult to move around with another person & your luggage, but no biggie.
breakfast was not included, & with the exchange rate it would have cost us ~$80 US each morning for the two of us. I didn't check, but I'm guessing full-body massages weren't included in that, so we always ate at the Monoprix just down Avenue de l'Opera, where we could get fresh fruit & fresh pastries for more like $12-14 US.
"Good location for shopping and sight seeing close"
I came to Paris with my 17year old Grandaughter. to shop and sightsee. The location was very good. The Metro was nearby. There are some lovely resturants within five minutes walk behind the Hotel Try FUXIA turn right at the rebock shop Lovely food great atmosphere
Fantastic spot to base your holiday in Paris! right near the Richelieu-Druoot tube station, a short walk up to the Louvre and along to the famous Opera Garnier (both amazing sites!!). Staff are more than welcoming and able to assist with any queries - always pleasant even with our broken French.
The room was very spacious and had been recently renovated - we were quite impressed as we'd heard of some hotels with particularly small rooms so hadn't expected a room so large (kind bed with sofa and a very large bathroom)
Lovely restaurants all within minutes of the hotel.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
