The apartments have been recently refurbished so are of a very good standard with everything you would expect for a self-catering holiday, given that they only have a two star rating we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need to cook a meal and the bathroom was big with modern decor.
The grounds were very well kept and the pool was lovely - as we were there mid-week we had it to ourselves in the mornings so our kids loved that! The apartments are very well located as it is only a short walk to the beach and to the centre of town. The road on which the apartments is on is mainly residential and very quiet so there was no noise to worry about.
Overall we would highly recommend the San Jorge apartments, very reasonably priced and provided everything you could want. We will definately be back :)

There are apartments in all the three level's building but I and my friends stayed on the number 00 which is right next to the swimming pool. I strongly recommend this apartment on the ground floor. The ones above since to lack of the freedom which we had. Staff speaks no English but we could manage with our little Spanish and we got everything we needed such as free password for wifi and information about the local area. 1 min walk from the gay beach and others. Friendly hotel. All equipped, very clean and well lit. Swimming pool is available until 21h30. Excellent. We had a perfect stay.
Pension Maricel is an okay accommodation. There are only 2 hotel staff: A pleasant (but she can only understand and speak Spanish) woman who also cleans the ten rooms of the hostel and a man for the night shift (and understands and speaks English). there is a continental sort of breakfast (toasts and croissant with btter and jam and coffee, tea, milk). I ate a buffet breakfast in another hotel for 10 Euros and takeaway my hostel pastry with me when I go hiking and cycling or go to the beach for my snacks. The room was okay. It was clean. The bathroom is small but clean and okay. Just bring your personal toilettries. There is no safety deposit box in the room so I just double lock my luggage. All hostel occupants have their own key to the hostel main entrance so the establishment is generally safe. I have rented a bike and I can park it in the hostel reception area. The only disappointment is the wifi since it hardly existed. I was able to get a quick access for my first two days of stay in the lobby at night for less than an hour. But if you dine in other restaurants they have wifi access and there is an internet cafe' in Sitges town centre for 1 Euro an hour. The best thing is that the location is close to everything especially that it is only a minute away from the beach front.
We have just returned from a brilliant stay at this wonderful hotel. The owners and the staff go out of their way to make their guests comfortable and relaxed, and they seem to be continually looking for ways to make the hotel better than it already is. It is situated very near to the railway station and to the bus stop where you get off from Barcelona airport (about 2 minutes' walk) and its proximity to the railway station means that day trips to Barcelona are easy (a 35-40 minute trip with no changes). The breakfasts are just the best! They are served in the Teddy Bear Garden, a tranquil space at the back of the hotel and you are offered a selection of cold meats, breads and cheeses, jams, pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurts, while your coffee is served in a large thermos flask so you can top up your coffee mug as you linger over breakfast. In their efforts to look after their guests' tastes and needs, the owners had just installed a self-serve egg boiler so you can have your eggs hard-boiled or soft-boiled if you want. (Apparently hotels are not allowed to offer soft-boiled eggs, but it's OK to make your own!) The room we had was at the back of the hotel, and was clean, well-cared for, and equipped with everything needed for a holiday stay - air-con, tea and coffee-making facilities, a small fridge, a safe box. Despite being so close to the railway station, a Mercadona and a busy road, we were never bothered with street/traffic noise.
For budget accommodation this is very good value- no frills, but everything you need. The only downside is having to go somewhere else to collect your keys etc- over a mile away- This should be made explicit on booking confirmation to save wasted time at the beginning of the holiday
Lovely apartment, nice and spacious and in a nice tranquil location. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool, as the beaches can be pretty busy in Sitges.
Only downsides are lack of Air Con and it's quite a distance to the hotel where you collect the keys. Apart from that i'd recommend it.
Was a little surprised at the lack of air conditioning or even a fan, and trying to get to grips with the kitchen was interesting (the oven had two settings - on and off). The furniture was dated but pretty clean. It's appropriate for the price, but not a gem by any means.

We have stayed here before. And for the price in Sitges don't think it can be beaten. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well places to wander anywhere in the town, and only 20 minutes from Barcelona.
