"Central Singapore in style for under £80 per night"
Very reasonable hotel by the river in Singapore in easy reach of all the city attractions, comfortable, air conditioned room but with small shower cubicle. Nice Poole with views over the city and the river. Good breakfast included in very reasonably priced room rate in the height of the season
We found this hotel clean, the staff friendly, and the rooms relatively comfortable. The rooms were a tad small (as is to be expected in Singapore), and we didn't get fridges (which would have been nice), but we had jugs to cook water with and the AC and shower worked well. The rooftop pool was also great - as was the view of all the skyscrapers. The location was pretty good - close to the MRT, and taxis relatively available nearby. There was also a great strip of little shops near the hotel that are on a road that is closed off on Friday/Saturday nights (I think) which we frequented. I would stay again :-).
My wife and i really enjoyed our stay here. Room was nice and clean, small but space for both our big bags and additional baggage. Staff was very friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in at 11am. Wifi was great. I would recommend this hotel.
A pleasant clean central hotel.
Close to Chinatown.
The rooms are small as is usual in Singapore - ours had a window and all needed facilities but it was small.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - we felt at home.
Breakfast was included - a decent cooked meal.
Internet available and included in the price.
Good hotel and very hospitable staff. Rooms are really clean and well provided. Room size is reasonable given this is budget/ boutique hotel but does not seem an issue. The location of hotel and proximity to Vivo city mall, Mount Faber, Sentosa, China town is really good.
Only issue is the hotel does not have an inhouse restaurant and nearest restaurants are a 1.5km away. Hotel provides breakfast except on Sunday but primarily non-vegetarian stuff and would not excite indian vegetarians much.
Overall a value for money proposition in Singapore.
Best thing about this hotel - very easy access to train, bus and taxi.
Three hawker centres (local food centre) are within walking distance, at Chinatown, behind People's Park Complex and Hong Lim Food Centre.
Being a small hotel, it was easy to get in and out. From my 3th floor hotel room, it took me one minute to step onto the street.
Room was small and only for people who travel light. Bed is the only place to open my luggage.
Noise from traffic does not bother me but could affect light sleeper.
