"Downtown ease."
Even thought the Belltown has no air conditioning and located on very busy streets it was a fun place to stay. We had our 5 yr old grandson with us and we walked down to the pier and to Pike's Market with ease. That is what we wanted to most because we do not like to drive around Seattle to get to the places we want to go.

"Loved University Inn"
Brought dogs. Recieved a doggie gift bag! Found parking immediately, LOVED THE BEDS AND BEDDING!! Totally new experience to have a sheet/personal duvet in one. Slept with my 11 year old daughter with NO problem for the first time! Ordered the duvet for my home. I stay in hotels often and was really taken with this bedding idea of sheet/duvet for 1. Found the staff extremely pleasant. Fun pool, and well kept tucked into a little alcove. Charming place!

"Great location Wonderful staff"
This hotel is easy walking distance to everything! Pikes Place Market, the ferry to Bainbridge Island, the light rail to the airport ( only $3 and an easy 45 min) many great restaurants and shops, zip car rental and close to the cruise ship terminal. The rooms are super large, modernized and secure. Lots of history ( ghosts?) and wonderful accommodating staff.

"Get what you pay for"
For how cheap the hotel was, I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness. At that price, I was expecting disgusting bedding, mildew in bathroom and carpet stains... NONE of that :) The airport shuttle was the best part... We used it daily to get to the Seatac Light Rail station.

"Close to airport and walking distance to rail"
Stayed for an early check in at the airport. Free shuttle to airport. Would stay there again. What I don't like about this is they keep asking for more comments when I'm trying to comets this survey. I should be able to write only what I want and have them ask for a little bit more!

"Easy hotel for Seattle center activities"
Stayed in many different Travelodge's on this trip and this was the best out of the ones we stayed at. The rooms were accessed via interior hallways, limiting the noise level. The beds were comfy (the newer style down comforter type bedding vs bedspreads), and the water pressure on the shower was decent. Had a pool and hot tub, although the hot tub jets didn't work. Very easy access to Seattle Center (space needle, EMP museum, etc). We used only public transit (no car) to get from Sea-Tac airport to the hotel, and the train was great (to Westlake Center), but then planned on taking the monorail to Seattle center. That is not the way to go cost wise - bus would have been better. As such, the hotel isn't as convenient to get to because if you're on a budget, you have to transfer train to bus to get to the hotel (and bus is a separate fair from the sea-tac transit line). However, barring the location, I was very pleased with the quality of the hotel for the price (please bear in mind there are things not pristine because this is a budget motel, and not a Hilton). One last thing - we had 5 in the room, so we got a rollaway bed. This was a very tight fit once the rollaway was set up.

Extended Stay America Seattle - Northgate

"Close to family in Ballard/NorthGate Area"
We needed a place that was reasonably priced and close to family in the Ballarad/Northgate Mall area and this was IT! We were visiting family and most hotels were near downtown and pricey so we ventured elsewhere and found this place -- although it's tucked away in a non-busy street, it's near major thorough-fares and we shuttled back and forth from our Aunt's place and the hotel with ease. We even had a chance to run around the neighborhood and pleasantly got additional exercise around the inclines of the area.

"Hotel ok but...."
Hotel was fine for our four night stay. Manager had a room for us before noon which was great since we came in early that morning. Wanted to cook so I asked for the dishes, utensils, appliances, etc. at checkin. Manager brought them to the room quickly after getting settled. Room was clean and comfortable, a bit small, but that was fine. After being there for a bit noticed that a little better cleaning was needed - toilet had a slight ring, dust and hair in the corners, nooks and crannies. Also after the first night I noticed some flea bites on my feet. I know this hotel allows dogs so that's what I assumed they were. My daughter didn't get any though. Overall stay was ok, felt safe, convenient location despite Seattle traffic just need more attention to cleaning more thoroughly.
