"You get what you pay for."
£28 for a room in central Manchester. The room was clean, could have towels if asked. Bed was comfortable enough. Only one pillow and duvet a bit thin, but room was warm enough. Breakfast was minimal continental. Cereals, tea, coffee toast and croissants. Parking was at local ncp park. Cheap and cheerful accommodation. Perfect for someone wanting a cheap bed for the night. Shower worked and the shower room was big enough to get dry and dressed in. Could do with a bit of work, but for the price you don't expect excellence.

"Some major positives, some major negatives"
Staff were really friendly when I arrived and we're always visible which was nice. Room itself was a good size and temperature and the hostel in general was quite cool and quirky. It could do with a bit of care and attention in places but nothing major. breakfast was good - choice of cereals, toast and jam and fruit. Eat as much as you like. Coffee and tea free 24 hours. Sadly I didn't get a good night's sleep. my mattress was uncomfortably lumpy and I'm really not that fussy. It was also pretty noisy despite ear plugs. Traffic and police outside but the worst thing was the people next door talking loudly until 2am (not the hostels fault apart from the thin walls). No individual lights or in room storage though lockers provided in corridors. Blinds didn't fully cover windows. Bathrooms adequate though shower was a bit pathetic. For £15 it wasn't all bad if you just want a city centre crash but I think I'd rather pay a bit more and go to the YHA.
