Budget hotel. Excellent location 5 minute walk from Central Station on a very clean road. Wonderful breakfast. Airport bus 5 minutes walk. On 24th December 2012, most hotels were closed. My luck this hotel was open.
Hotel is on a main road with direct tram line to the city, I got a room at the rear of the building on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet no problems sleeping. Single room was larger than most I have stayed at in Germany, bed was a bit low down but comfortable, good shower. I did not try the food so cannot comment on it.
My single room was spacious with equipped kitchen and long study desk. Just right next to U-Bahn station. Supermarkets (Penny and REWE City) are within 100 metres. Everything was good, except for the WiFI internet. Connection was always intermittent or completely down. Having feedback to the hotel staff, they acknowledged that many had complained about it. But seems like nothing have been done to improve on it.
I will still stay in this hotel when I visit Munich again.
We arrived cold and wet at 9am in the morning, and I knew that check in was at 2pm. The lady in the counter immediately arranged for us to have our room, before I even asked for the possibility of early check in. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a small sofa and a large L-shaped desk. Everyday, we had a nice buffet breakfast at the breakfast room and at the end of our stay we were even given a bottle of wine.

This hotel is right next to the metro, which helped with all travels. The staff were polite & friendly. The layout was typical Ibis hotel, however one of our twin beds had a mind of its own & turned out to be quite uncomfortable! The breakfast was decent & good. In general it is a business area so if you want more character then you might want to consider other options.

This is not a luxury hotel, but it offers comfortable, clean lodging with a very helpful staff. We chose it because it was near where my daughter is studying in Germany, but with the easy access to the Ubahn it was easy to get around anywhere in the city. The staff was very helpful with our travel plans and communication needs. Breakfast was excellent with lots of organic foods - all very fresh.
