This hotel was very inexpensive and I was worried that it might be seedy and in a bad area. On the contrary it was in a great area, we walked to Il Duomo, La Galleria and La Scala for the ballet that night. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were most helpful. The one drawback was no toilet in our room but you can't get everything for that kind of price. The other bonus was that it had a lift! I would always stay there when in Milan and would highly recommend it.

Spent one night here in July 2014. Staff were very courteous and spoke excellent English. The hotel was close to the train station and near the metro, which gave easy access to get around the city. However, the neighbourhood between the train station and the hotel is TERRIBLE and I definitely plan on taking a taxi if you arrive at night. During the day it's not a problem because the streets are crowded with other pedestrians, but at night the area is abandoned and there's a lot of creepy people lurking around.

I booked my room at the Hotel Delizia on account of the high customer rating, and inexpensive room rate. The location was easy for the taxi to find, the hotel staff was courteous and professional, my room was ready immediately and was clean and comfortable. This was a welcome reception after my tiring day of travel. This was my first time in Milan, the hotel employees were more than happy to help me find my way around, from directions to the public transportation, where to get money from an ATM, and suggestions on where to go for a good meal close by, a historical site seeing, or where to find the nightlife. The breakfast in the mornings were just right and served by the staff, and there was always someone available if you wanted a cup of coffee or something from the bar. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Delizia, I will definitely be staying there again, and would recommend it to anyone who does not want to spend a lot of money on a simple hotel room.

Friendly, helpful staff, a great location, spotlessly clean rooms and common areas, reliable wifi in our room . A Sunday market next door, fresh rolls, juice, fresh fruit, pastries and cereals for breakfast. Perfect. Thanks for a great stay.

"Small friendly hotel, close to major attractions"
We found the hotel to be smaller and more intimate than larger hotels. Rooms good size and very clean. Our room overlooked a communal courtyard that was very quiet and a welcome change when opening our windows to see some open space. Staff were attentive and informative. Breakfast quite good. Close to metro, within walking distance from Milan Centrale station, opposite tram No 1 to get into Duomo but found that most attractions were within walking distance. Friendly little bar next door with happy hour offering a range of snacks. Good value for money. Would definately recommend this hotel.
