The staff was above and beyond our expectations. They were unaware of our purchasing the room and so when we arrived past check in time they they were not prepared. However, once I showed them the Expedia receipt they put us in a large room with a massive TV and bathroom that was almost as big as the room itsslf. We had to depart in the morning for our flight and the owner called the taxi for us and played translator for us so we could arrive at the airport in time.
The young people manning the front desk do not speak English, and they literally laugh at you when you walk up and say "hi" when you go to check in. After you leave, they'll continue laughing.
They give you a bag of goodies like shampoo, toothbrushes, condoms (?!), which is nice.
The room itself was nice. One large bed, air conditioning, decent wifi speeds, big tv. The layout and architecture was interesting.
Unfortunately, in the bathroom there was apparently water leaking from the shower head. This meant the floor was always wet and there appeared to be mold growing along the base of the walls. The shower was capable of very high pressure, which was nice.
This hotel? is ideal for stopovers. It has no restaurant and no reception. You ring the hotel and someone comes to the airport, picks you up, gives you your keys and takes you to your room.
There are food outlets/restaurants downstairs and are great value.
The rooms have everything, slippers for the carpet, slippers for the wet areas, air-conditioning, washer, dryer, full kitchen including wok ring, and all the other little necessities.
A great alternative to the usual hotels
Was unsure when booking this as the Tripadvisor reviews were mixed. Glad I did book it, as for the price, it's a nice apartment hotel, newly built and very modern. Air Conditioned, well heated for winter and well equipped with a hob and pressure cooker. The TV has about 100 channels, with several in English. The hotel is just 2 mins walk from Unseo train station. Use the *local* Korail train 2 stops from the airport, cost is less than a can of coke and takes just four minutes. (Don't get the express train or you will see the hotel at 100mph!) The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Few of them speak English, but you can easily make yourself understood. The staff on the night shift were really helpful in finding a microwave for my tea.
