"December in Bruges"
The reception desk had helpful staff that spoke perfect English- no problems there.
The room was clean, slightly bigger than I expected, nicely decorated with lovely bigs windows with a view onto the canal. It was lovely and quiet, I'm a heavy sleeper, my boyfriend wakes up at the slightest noise, but he slept very well for the five nights that we were there.
The bathroom was neat and compact with everything we needed, nicely lit with a hair dryer fitted in the bathroom unit. Also, for those that worry about toiletries there was a two-in-one soap/shampoo dispenser which was nice and full.
The beds were super comfy, the room was cleaned everyday, with a top up of toilet rolls and towels as we needed. There was a TV, nice size, wall mounted with plenty of channels- not all of them in English (to be expected) but there were some films and programs in English.
Breakfast was great - unless you're expecting a full English! It was buffet style, with plenty of options for drinks, with meats, cheeses, breads, fruit, cereal & yogurt.
Location- the hotel is situated in a quiet area, there are a few bars/restaurants around but it's better if you walk into the town centre... It's not far away, maybe 5-10 minute walk dependant on whether you rush or stroll. And there is plenty to see and do.
I'm very glad we stayed in this hotel, it was within our budget, not as far away from the town as I thought it was and we felt safe there - No worries about staff, or security!
