"Maple Hotel is a good choice in Dublin Centre City"
I stayed here on a recent visit to Dublin. The hotel was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. The accommodations were what I would expect from a budget hotel however the room was much larger that I've had with hotels in this price range. There is a pub right next to the hotel . The hotel staff was adequate and not what I would call overly friendly but that did not impact my experience here.

"Great location."
The hotel staff was great; after one day they all remembered who I was and what room I was in. The hotel is located right by Trinity College and you're only five minutes away from just about anywhere you need to go. Perfect place to stay during St. Patrick's Day week.

"Good stay, walking distance to attractions"
The check-in was seamless- our room was even ready early, which was great. We had a room on the 2nd Floor, facing the parking lot, which I had requested (to minimize street noise). The carpeted room is cozy for two people. The kitchenette area has a toaster, kettle, soap and sponge. There are also a few bowls, cutlery and glasses. The bed was quite comfortable and roomy enough for two people. The shower had excellent water pressure and the bathroom is standard size. The whole building was quiet during our stay; the street also is quiet at night. It's located only about a 15-20 minute walk from the main attractions so an easy place to stay. There is a airport shuttle bus pickup about 2 blocks away, which comes every 15 or 30 minutes. I would recommend.

Glen Guesthouse

84 Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin - Map

"A few words on the Glen"
The Glen Guest house is a typical Lower Gardiner St B and B located in the heart of Dublin. It is a short walk from major attractions: The Abbey Theater, major museums, O'Connell Street shopping. The hotel is easy to reach from the airport - the bus stops across the street - and within walking distance of Connolly Station (train to Belfast) even if you have a couple bags. Your experience of the hotel will be dictated by your expectations. This is you get what you pay for. The rooms are modest and the heat comes and goes. The view from the back is an ally where locals drink beer and smoke. The front - Gardiner Street - is very noisy, especially at night as people gather on the street in front of the nearby hostel. The traffic is non-stop- and loud. Let me add in closing the breakfasts are generous; the fruit bowl is excellent - really a nice surprise, and breakfast is served quickly with good humor. .
