It is with some pride that I write this review of The Cliffs Hotel in Blackpool. My stay was for 5 nights and I can say very enjoyable. The staff were very efficent and welcoming when we arived. We had booked a Sea view room and we got exactly what we booked, Second floor room facing the sea. The room was very clean and fairly comfortable and it was also quiet. The breakfast had lots of choice, though the large dining room was busy food was replaced very quickly when it was running out. The staff in the dinning room were always polite and were able to point one in the right direction when looking for any of the food provided which was all of a very good quality. The pool area was clean and the pool was really very clean. Parking can be abit of a problem at this busy time of year but not impossible as the local streets do have space and there is a car park a block or so away.
The room it self was just a little tired and and the bed covers could do with an upgrade. The bed linen was very clean and crisp. Back to the staff at reception, they were so very helpfull in all or requirements, to be fair all the staff at this hotel were excellent, they must have a good working envoirment and a good Manager.
I really enjoyed my stay in Savoy Blackpool. Of course the name suggested more luxury than there was, but overall the hotel has a lot of charm and very good staff. It is a nice short distance from the centre and the walk along the sea is very enjoyable.
Would definitely recommend.
Room was ideally suitable for our needs. Bedding very clean and lovely fresh towels every day. For the price we paid we couldn't complain and full english breakfast was included. Hotel could do with a bit of TLC and one bannister was a bit of a safety issue. However, if you are just looking for a cheap and cleanish place to stay this is it. Only other thing to point out is that bathroom seems to be on a tilt so no point in using shelf and shower cubicle was extremely small!
I stayed in the hotel for 4 days. The owners were lovely and were really attentive. They always enquired if there was anything I needed. They set up breakfast for me at a local cafê where the food was great. I whole-heartedly recommend this hotel.
Lovely, clean hotel situation central to all of blackpools attractions. Nice and quiet as it is just off the sea front and staff are very welcoming and helpful. Great menu choice for breakfast and clean towels everyday. Perfect for Couples and families would highly recommend!
The new brooklyn is a lovely hotel with great value for money, very clean, and tidy its like being in a large hotel but without the big price tag,the breakfast was excellent on both mornings i stayed, friendly staff were always on hand to help,i cant really find fault with this hotel and yes whenever i go back to sunny blackpool there is really one choice.its gets a 5 star rating from me.mr jacobs manchester
I stayed in this hotel during 4 day festival and thought it was fairly alright spot to crash after night out. Breakfast was tasty too. It's a no thrills B&B but I didn't go to Blackpool for hotel vacation.
