The hotel was one of the best I stayed in Europe for its budget price. Although does not have an elevator, the staff was super friendly n helpful with everything I needed from directions to help with the luggage. Cleaning service everyday, flat screen in the room n free internet were a great plus! The location is very good, just a few meters from the Metro station. Win-win!

If you are looking for great value accommodation in Paris , then you certainly won't be disappointed by the Hotel de France …More
Because of its block and a half proximity to Le Gare de Lyon and to the Air France shuttle buses from Charles de Gaulle airport which stop right in front of the Gare de Lyon, Hotel Palym makes a one-night stopover in Paris practical, affordable and fun. Yes, it is a typical Paris low-budget hotel with small rooms and boutique bathrooms but it has recently been refurbished so that everything is attractive and sparkling clean. The reception desk is staffed by knowledgeable and friendly English-speaking staff who are extremely helpful. If you are staying longer, do request one of the larger rooms with king-sized beds--it was as large as any and very comfortable.
From an enthusiastic fan of Hotel Palym.

Only wish we could have stayed here longer! The hotel staff was the most friendly and accommodating that I've ever encountered. Phillip at check in anticipated all of our needs and really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Even after our stay, the service continued as my daughter left her iPhone in the room. We were contacted by them right away to return the phone. Beautiful hotel with well equipped room- only bathtub we had while in France!
Small, older but refurbished hotel very close to the Seine and walking distance to Notre Dame. Great staff. We arrived in Paris very late - 1am - unexpectedly and a quick call to the hotel was all that was needed to be sure that someone would be there when we arrived. They did not have a 24-hr front desk, so we really appreciated that they waited for us to arrive.

We were only here one night on our way home…..was a shame as its a really nice hotel. The staff are really nice and happily helped out organizing taxis etc.
The hotel room is small but well equipped and very acceptable……….has a nice feel to it. Its also in a good location if you want to explore that part of Paris with some good cafes etc nearby.
We would stay there again!!!
Only needed a hotel for one night and booked this hotel on a wim. But possibly one of the best decisions I made on this short trip. When I arrived, the kind lady at the front was already expecting me. She helped me with parking (because despite it saying it has free parking, it doesn't but plenty of places nearby to park). Afterwards she gave us our keys and the staff took us to our rooms. The rooms were so cute and very clean. Great view, great rooms, great staff. Despite having the whole day ahead of us, I was excited for bed time already!! The staff take the keys for safe-keeping and understandably, I totally trusted them, but if you are worried, do make sure you make use of the safe facilities. We arrived back very late and there was a kind gentlemen at the front who was there to give us our keys. All the facilities in the rooms were perfect and I slept one of the best nights in ages! The pillows are just so fluffy!!
In the morning, breakfast was an extra, but due to shortage of time, we opted in. It was totally worth it, warm pastries, teas and drinks, cereals, so much on offer. Such a pleasant stay!
