Overlooking a pretty harbour and backed by a hill lined with four windmills, Mikonos Town is Greece’s most exclusive and hedonistic party destination. The small town has quaint cobbled streets and whitewashed houses; its glamorous nightlife, five-star design hotels and chic eateries attract celebrities and an international gay party crowd. The best beaches are out of town, on the south coast, served by taxi boat from the harbour.
