"Excellent hotel, close to Metro and city center"
Spent 4 nights in a triple room with my mother and sister. Excellent hotel with excellent service (Jerome at the front desk was especially helpful and very kind). The rooms are small, but the rooms were well appointed, beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We didn't have the hotel breakfast and instead went to the incredible bakery across the street in the morning for croissants. The Metro entrance is literally in front of the hotel, and it would take about 20 minutes to get to central Paris (Line 8, which basically took us everywhere). There is also a great restaurant across the street, Les Cascades, where we had dinner 2 nights in a row (including our Thanksgiving dinner!). 2 supermarkets in the area, as well as a corner store open all night for snacks and beverages.
Since the hotel is on the eastern edge of the city, we took a taxi from the airport (FYI, for 3 people with luggage, traveling on a Wednesday early afternoon, with some traffic, it cost us 47E from the airport using a metered taxi at the official airport taxi stand - watch out for the very aggressive men who block the airport door to the taxi stand, trying to get us to use their "taxi" for 70E). Jerome helped us arrange for the return shuttle to the airport, which was 54E, very reasonable and very easy. If I were traveling there alone or with just 1 person, I would have probably taken the Air France Shuttle to Opera for 10E, then the Metro, Line 8, direct to the hotel.
